Evidence Synthesis 2: Statistics in Systematic Reviewing · Period 5
In this module you choose your own topic and carry out a systematic review and meta-analysis in R, from protocol to draft paper. The first six weeks you write and read R code yourself. In week 7 we turn to Claude Code.
How a week works
- Learn the R code. Work through the lecture script, the concept list and the practice questions, or come to the lecture. Slides and scripts are online before the lecture.
- Quiz. At the start of the next tutorial you take a short paper quiz: you read R code and output from the previous lecture and explain what it does and what it means.
- Apply it to your own data in the tutorial, with the tutor available for questions.
- Hand in before the deadline via the submission form.
