Evidence Synthesis 1: Study Designs in Systematic Reviewing · Period 4
In this module you write your first systematic review and meta-analysis, together with one or two fellow students. All groups work on the same question: does exposure to thimerosal-containing vaccines increase the risk of autism spectrum disorder in children?
How a week works
- Learn the concepts. Use the concept list of the week page, the textbook, an AI tutor in learning mode, or come to the lecture. The slides are online before the lecture.
- Practise. Every week page has practice questions with answers.
- Quiz. At the start of the next tutorial you take a short paper quiz on those concepts.
- Work on your review. The rest of the tutorial is for the weekly assignment, with the tutor available for questions.
- Hand in before the deadline via the submission form.
